Description

Diwanee- Lebanon Overview You will be an integral part of a well-supported team. The main role is to develop and maintain Websites and web applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Drupal, Magento, Prestashop open source CMS systems. Accountabilities/Requirements: • B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related field • Participate in design sessions with developers • Ensure code and design meets specifications, quality and security standards, and is maintainable & sometimes scalable. • Work in collaboration with project teams to meet business goals • Contribute to solution development, brainstorming and site documentation • Development of standards compliant code — HTML, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, Java Script. • Able to develop powerful, secured and manageable websites based on PHP and Drupal CMS. • Evaluate and debug code to ensure cross-browser compatibility and accessibility in unfamiliar code • Production for ongoing site maintenance and content updates • Deliver creative development solutions within existing constraints and limitations • Accountable for accuracy, project deadlines, and contributing to project completion • Convey expert knowledge of current web trends, user experience and the project process • Manage several concurrent assignments efficiently. • Be willing to go the extra mile to get the job done, including occasional overtime. • Good levels of communication. Both written and verbal • Creativity and ability to learn and solve problems quickly in a fast-paced environment Skills • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL development • Experience in developing database-driven websites with PHP 5. • Experience building large-scale web applications and infrastructure • Experience with web front-end development: W3C Compliant XHTML, CSS, JavaScript and libraries such as JQuery
